Meet The Team
Mrs. Krenrich
Hello, my name is Stephanie Krenrich. I have been here at Atrisco for 9 years. I am a former journalist who has worked for The Weekly Alibi, Business Weekly, The Albuquerque Tribune and KOB Channel 4. I started the journalism class here at Atrisco in 2015. We published our first newspaper Jaguar Ink in 2016. Throughout the years our newspaper has evolved and many students have been able to have their stories published. This year we have a good group of dedicated students who are devoted to bringing you school news and interesting stories.

As-salamu Alaykum my name is Joshua Perfetti I'm 17 years old I'm a senior at Atrisco Heritage Acadamy. I've been in Journalism for three years and this year I'm the lead editor helping in grading assignments and creating assignments. This isn't something I wanted to do originally but now I've come to somewhat enjoy this class. But this is my final year so I'll put in all my effort for these children so they stay in the class.

My name is Ashley Cabral, I'm one of the editors from the journalism team at Atrisco Heritage High School. I've been in journalism for three years now. Journalism is a very interesting class. I get to learn new things everyday, My freshman year I learned about advertising, and doing podcasts . I will be graduating next year in 2023 and going to college to study to be a midwife.

My name is Cheyenne and I’m the managing editor here for Jaguar Ink. I help the editor in chiefs edit stories for our papers and help in the collaboration of new ideas for the class. In addition to this, I also run our social media page! This is where I focus on promoting our new papers and getting feedback from students. This is my second year in journalism and I’ve enjoyed every aspect of it! Initially, I joined journalism for my love of writing and the ability to express my thoughts through it. This class has been so much fun and I’m truly looking forward to the rest of the year to come!

Hi! My name is America and I am the photographer in my journalism class. I am an eleventh grader and this is currently my second year in journalism. I am the one who takes pictures for this class. Ever since I signed up for photography in this class I've been learning and improving with the camera.I love doing what I do because I love taking pictures but it's also like I like being behind the camera not in front of it!

Hi My name is Yulissa and I am the designer in my 5th-period journalism class I'm a junior and yes, I designed this website. In my class, I make the website and create our school newspaper with my much appreciated team of designers. I play volleyball for my school Atrisco and I want to study criminal justice when I go to college.

My name is Mario Diaz, I came to Atrisco my sophomore year of high school and everything was online. I joined newspaper l and it was an interesting class experience so I decided to join it a second year. I've learned to write newspaper articles, and do interviews. My writing skills have progressed from my sophomore year and I only hope for my skills to get better. I suggest this class to anyone who wants a career path in journalism or writing stories.
